We are surrounded by Your love

1. We are surrounded by Your love, O Lord,
   Your glory shines around us like the light,
   We are surrounded by Your love, O Lord,
   That is why we all put our trust in You.

Glory to God, our only source of joy,
Glory to God, the One who has saved us,
Glory to God, the One who so loved us,
That is why we all put our trust in Him.

2. Lord, You did not wait for us to love You
   Before making Your great love known to us.
   By Your mighty hand and Your outstretched arm,
   You saved us, Mighty God, from hell fire.
   
3. How great is the love the Father’s bestowed
   On us, that we should be called sons of God!
   He has set us free by His mighty hands,
   And in Him we all have eternal life.
   
4. Beloved, let’s love one another: For love
   Is of God; and every one who loves is
   Born of God and knows God. But, he who does
   Not love does not know God, for God is love.
   
5. This is how God showed His love among us:
   He has sent His only begotten Son
   Into the world, that we might live through Him.
   Who loves God must also love his brother.
   
6. Beloved, if God so loved us, we also
   Ought to love one another. No one has
   Ever seen God; if we love our brother
   The love of God is made complete in us.
